Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead their FP&A function remotely, serving clients and operations associated with Bristol . This senior role will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, forecasting accuracy, and business performance insights. You will lead the FP&A team, develop robust financial models, and partner closely with executive leadership to guide strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Financial Planning & Analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive management.
• Develop and enhance financial models to support business decision-making and scenario analysis.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, and communicate variances and trends effectively.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports and board presentations.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and tools.

Requirements

• MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with significant leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and strategic financial management.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and accounting practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a strong asset.
