£65K + Uncapped Commission + Benefits / Early Finish Fridays / International Travel

Working for a successful Gloucester-based specialist manufacturer whose innovative products are used within hospitals and healthcare settings worldwide, you will take ownership of developing new international markets by growing an established network of Distributors and Agents.

This is a hands-on international sales role. Rather than selling directly to individual hospitals and other end users, your primary focus will be identifying, appointing, onboarding and developing high-quality distribution partners capable of growing sales within their territories.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will take responsibility for international distributor and agent development in the EU and LATAM:

• Research and identify attractive new international markets and routes to market.

• Identify, approach and recruit suitable Distributors and Sales Agents.

• Assess potential partners based on market coverage, customer relationships, sales capability and commitment.

• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate Distributor / Agency arrangements.

• Develop structured onboarding and launch plans for new partners.

• Provide Distributors with the product knowledge, sales tools and training required to successfully develop their markets.

• Agree sales targets and market-development plans with individual partners.

• Manage and develop existing international Distributors and Agents.

• Monitor Distributor performance, pipelines and sales activity.

• Identify underperforming territories and implement improvement plans.

• Support partners in identifying end customers and converting significant opportunities.

• Develop long-term relationships that deliver sustainable international revenue growth.

• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and activity through a CRM.

• Travel internationally to meet existing and prospective partners and support market development.

We are looking for a commercially driven international sales professional with proven experience of developing business through Distributors, Agents or other channel partners.

You are likely to have experience as an International Sales Manager, Export Sales Manager, International Business Development Manager, Distributor Sales Manager, Head of Export or Head of International Sales.

You should have:

• Strong B2B sales and business development experience.

• Proven experience identifying, appointing and managing Distributors and Agents.

• Experience developing new territories or international markets.

• Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-management skills.

• The ability to manage Distributors against agreed sales targets and KPIs.

• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.

• Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.

• Experience using CRM systems.

• The flexibility to undertake regular international travel.

Experience within medical devices, healthcare, clinical products, laboratory equipment or another specialist product sold through international distribution networks would be particularly advantageous.

Previous experience across the EU and/or Latin America, together with Spanish, French or another relevant language, would also be beneficial but is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist UK business with an established international presence and products that make a genuine difference within healthcare and bereavement care.

You will have considerable autonomy to identify new markets, build partnerships and develop international sales, with the opportunity to directly benefit from the growth you deliver through an uncapped commission structure.
