About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of Operations to oversee the efficient and effective delivery of their services across the organisation in Manchester . This senior leadership role is responsible for managing all operational aspects, including resource allocation, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in streamlining operations, enhancing service quality, and supporting the charity's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations of the charity, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and mission delivery in Manchester .
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality.
• Manage budgets, resources, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal utilisation.
• Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and health and safety standards pertinent to the charity sector .

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, with a significant portion within the non-profit or charitable sector .
• Proven ability to manage complex operations, budgets, and teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and experience implementing them successfully.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with risk management and ensuring organizational compliance.
