About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and dynamic Head of Operations to lead their entire operational function from their base in Belfast , with the flexibility of a fully remote working arrangement. This senior leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all operational activities to support the company’s growth and success. You will drive efficiency, implement scalable processes, and ensure exceptional service delivery, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision and operational roadmap for the organization, aligning with business goals.
• Oversee all operational departments, including logistics, supply chain, customer service, and quality assurance.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operational leaders and staff.
• Implement and refine operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in senior operations leadership roles, with a proven track record of scaling operations and driving business growth.
• Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, with deep knowledge of operational best practices.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including budget management, P&L responsibility, and resource planning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with relevant operational software, ERP systems, and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a remote leadership role, effectively managing distributed teams.
