About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of Operations to lead their operational functions in Birmingham . This senior leadership position is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing complex projects, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. You will be instrumental in developing and executing operational strategies that support business growth and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale operations, a strong understanding of process optimization, and exceptional leadership capabilities to guide and inspire the operations team in Birmingham .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of all operational activities across the organization.
• Develop and maintain robust operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through effective resource management.
• Build, train, and motivate a high-performing operations team, setting clear performance expectations and goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements and technological solutions to enhance operational capabilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and exceeded.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior operations management role, with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic operational plans in a complex environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and P&L responsibility.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
