About the Role

Our client is searching for a strategic and influential Head of Partnerships & Corporate Engagement to spearhead collaboration initiatives in Birmingham . This senior role is crucial for forging and nurturing vital relationships with corporate entities, foundations, and strategic partners to advance our charitable objectives. You will play a key role in developing innovative partnership models, securing significant funding, and enhancing the organisation's visibility and impact within the West Midlands and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial acumen and a deep commitment to the social good mission of our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for corporate partnerships and engagement.
• Identify, solicit, and secure significant funding and in-kind support from corporate partners.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the corporate sector.
• Design and manage joint initiatives that align with corporate social responsibility goals and our client's mission.
• Represent our client at high-profile networking events and industry conferences to enhance visibility.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and reporting on partnership activities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in business development , corporate partnerships, or fundraising, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Demonstrated track record of securing major corporate partnerships and significant funding.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking capability with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) landscape.
• Ability to travel within the UK as required for meetings and events in Birmingham and other locations.
