About the Role
Our client, a prominent charitable organisation , is looking to appoint a strategic and influential Head of Partnerships to lead their corporate and institutional giving efforts from their Birmingham office. This senior role is responsible for securing vital funding through developing and nurturing long-term relationships with businesses, foundations, and other organisations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's financial sustainability and expanding its reach, ensuring that critical services continue to be delivered to those in need. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust strategy for securing corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and major gifts.
- Identify, research, and cultivate new potential partners, building strong, lasting relationships.
- Manage and steward existing relationships, ensuring partner satisfaction and continued engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and tailored partnership propositions.
- Represent the organisation at high-level networking events and forums.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in corporate fundraising , partnership development, or business development, preferably within the non-profit sector .
- Demonstrated success in securing six-figure plus partnerships and major gifts.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop long-term fundraising plans.
- A strong understanding of the current fundraising landscape and corporate social responsibility.
