About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Head Squash Coach to lead their thriving squash program in Coventry, West Midlands . This role is central to developing and nurturing talent across all age groups and skill levels, from beginner to elite competitive players. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative training methodologies, fostering a positive and encouraging team environment, and promoting the sport within the local community. The successful candidate will have a passion for player development and a proven track record of success in coaching and program management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for junior and senior squash players, focusing on technical, tactical, and physical development.
• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions, providing constructive feedback and personalized development plans.
• Organize and manage participation in local, regional, and national squash tournaments and leagues.
• Recruit and retain members for the squash club, actively engaging with potential new players.
• Collaborate with club management to promote squash and expand participation within the Coventry community.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coaching techniques and squash rules, ensuring best practices are followed.

Requirements

• Recognized coaching qualifications from a national or international squash federation.
• Demonstrable experience in coaching squash at various levels, with a focus on player development.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and implement effective training structures and strategies.
• A passion for the sport of squash and a commitment to fostering a positive sporting culture in the West Midlands .
