About the Role

Our client is looking for an inspirational and highly qualified Head Squash Coach to lead their prestigious squash academy in Manchester . This is a leadership position responsible for the development and delivery of elite squash training programs, talent identification, and coaching excellence. You will nurture aspiring players, foster a winning culture, and contribute significantly to the academy's reputation and success on regional and national stages, working within a dedicated and performance-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the squash academy's coaching program, from junior development to elite squads.
• Design and implement comprehensive training plans focusing on technical skill, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of qualified squash coaches.
• Identify and recruit promising talent to join the academy.
• Provide high-level individual coaching and strategic guidance to top-tier players.
• Organize and attend tournaments, matches, and training camps, ensuring peak player performance.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a squash coach, with a proven track record of developing successful players.
• Level 3 or higher coaching qualification recognized by England Squash or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of squash strategy, technique, and modern training methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Experience in managing coaching staff and academy operations.
• Ability to travel for tournaments and training camps as required.
