About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Head Squash Coach to lead their squash program in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK . This role involves developing and delivering high-quality coaching sessions for players of all ages and abilities, from beginners to elite competitors. You will be responsible for promoting the sport, managing club facilities, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all members. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate coach to make a significant contribution to the growth of squash within a vibrant sports club, working with dedicated members and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive squash coaching programs, including individual lessons, group clinics, and squad training.
• Assess player skills, provide constructive feedback, and develop tailored training plans to improve performance.
• Organize and run internal club tournaments, leagues, and external competitions.
• Promote squash participation within the club and local community, attracting new members.
• Manage court bookings, ensure equipment is maintained, and uphold club standards.

Requirements

• Recognized coaching qualification from a national or international squash federation (e.g., England Squash Level 2 or higher).
• Proven experience in coaching squash at various levels, with a track record of player development.
• Excellent understanding of squash techniques, tactics, and player conditioning.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Passion for developing talent and promoting sports participation.
