About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and experienced Head Squash Professional to manage and elevate their squash facilities in Birmingham . This role requires a dynamic individual to oversee all squash-related activities, including coaching, court management, and event organization. You will be responsible for growing membership engagement within the squash section, developing junior and adult coaching programs, and ensuring a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for all players. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the squash community at a premier sports club and contribute to its continued reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive coaching programs for players of all ages and abilities.
• Provide individual and group squash lessons , focusing on technique, strategy, and fitness.
• Organize and manage internal and external squash tournaments and social events.
• Promote squash membership and actively engage with club members to enhance their experience.
• Maintain and manage the squash courts, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
• Represent the club at inter-club matches and relevant sporting events.

Requirements

• Professional Squash Coaching qualifications and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop players from beginner to advanced levels.
• Strong understanding of squash rules , tactics, and training methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience in event management and promotion within a sports context.
• A passion for developing and growing the sport of squash.
