About the Role

Our client, a leading tennis club in Norwich , is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Tennis Coach to lead their coaching team and develop their junior and adult programs. This role is crucial for elevating the standard of tennis coaching, attracting new members, and fostering a vibrant tennis community within the club. You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality coaching sessions, mentoring assistant coaches, and managing all aspects of the club's tennis development activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in coaching and a dedication to player development and club growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive tennis coaching plans for all levels, from beginner to elite.
• Deliver exceptional individual and group coaching sessions, focusing on technique, strategy, and match play.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of assistant tennis coaches, ensuring consistent quality and delivery.
• Organize and run club tournaments, social events, and outreach programs to engage players and attract new members.
• Manage court bookings and ensure efficient utilization of club facilities for coaching and matches.
• Liaise with club management and committee members on tennis development strategy and performance.

Requirements

• LTA Level 3 or higher coaching qualification, or equivalent international certification.
• A minimum of 4 years of coaching experience, with demonstrable success in player development.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a coaching team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• A deep understanding of tennis coaching principles and player progression pathways.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment for all players.
