About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Tennis Coach to lead their tennis academy and programs in Bristol, South West England, UK . This key role involves developing and implementing comprehensive coaching curricula for players of all levels, from junior beginners to aspiring professionals. You will be instrumental in nurturing talent, promoting a positive learning environment, and ensuring the academy upholds its reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and oversee a range of tennis coaching programs, including private lessons, group clinics, and squad training.
• Assess player skills, identify strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized training plans for improvement.
• Recruit, train, and manage assistant coaching staff, ensuring high standards of instruction and player engagement.
• Organize and manage club tournaments, inter-club matches, and coordinate player participation in external events.
• Promote the tennis academy and programs to attract new members and retain existing ones.

Requirements

• Professional tennis coaching certification (e.g., PTR, USPTA, LTA Level 3 or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience, with a proven track record of player development at various levels.
• In-depth knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, biomechanics, and modern training methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate players and create a positive, challenging, and fun learning environment.
