Hours 8:00am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Headteacher's PA Duties to include:
- Provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Headteacher.
- Manage the Headteacher's diary, appointments, meetings and correspondence.
- Prepare agendas, reports, presentations and meeting documentation.
- Coordinate school events, visits and stakeholder meetings.
- Act as a professional first point of contact for visitors, parents and external agencies.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes where required.
- Support governance activities and administrative requirements.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Pastoral Administration Duties to include:
- Provide administrative support to the pastoral and safeguarding teams.
- Maintain accurate student records and pastoral documentation.
- Support attendance monitoring and follow-up procedures.
- Assist with behaviour, wellbeing and pastoral tracking systems.
- Liaise with parents/carers regarding pastoral matters as directed.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a senior administrative, PA or school-based administrative role.
- Possesses excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Can manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy and professionalism at all times.
- Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office and digital management systems.
- Knowledge of Arbour and/or SIMS is desirable.
- Experience within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
Eligibility / Requirements
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.
