Health & Safety Advisor – East Coast Scotland

£40,000–£45,000 East Coast Scotland Permanent

An established infrastructure contractor is looking to add a Health & Safety Advisor to its team covering projects across the East Coast of Scotland.

This is a good opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional who is comfortable working within a site-based environment and wants to join a business operating across major infrastructure and utilities projects.

You will work closely with operational teams, providing practical Health & Safety support across projects and helping ensure standards are maintained throughout the business.

Typical responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day Health & Safety advice to operational teams

Carrying out site inspections and audits

*

Supporting investigations and corrective actions

*

Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work

*

Supporting managers and site teams with Health & Safety requirements

*

Helping drive improvements in Health & Safety standards and behaviours

*

Providing practical support across multiple sites and projects

The role will suit somebody with previous Health & Safety experience within construction, civil engineering, utilities or another similar operational environment
