Job Description
We are working with an established construction business who are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to lead and oversee health and safety across their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain health & safety policies, procedures and standards.
- Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Irish health & safety legislation and ISO 45001.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
- Deliver health & safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain safety documentation, including method statements, safety statements and training records.
- Work closely with management and site teams to promote a strong safety culture.
- Drive continuous improvement across health & safety systems and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ health & safety experience within the construction industry.
- Roofing experience would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance.
- Experience with ISO 45001 and safety management systems.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience carrying out audits, risk assessments and safety training.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Full clean driver’s licence.
