About the Role
A leading architectural practice specializing in healthcare facilities is seeking an experienced Healthcare Architect to join their team in Liverpool . You will take a lead role in the design and delivery of complex hospital, clinic, and research facilities, ensuring compliance with stringent healthcare regulations and user requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for new healthcare facilities and refurbishments.
- Develop detailed design proposals, technical documentation, and specifications for healthcare projects.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant healthcare standards (e.g., HBNs, HTMs), building regulations, and accessibility requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clients, clinical user groups, engineers, and specialist consultants.
- Oversee projects from inception through to completion, managing design development and construction phases.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with substantial experience specifically in healthcare architecture .
- Proven track record of delivering complex healthcare projects (hospitals, clinics, labs).
- Strong understanding of healthcare planning, functional requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, including BIM (Revit) capabilities.
- Excellent client liaison, communication, and project management skills.
