About the Role

Our client, a specialist in healthcare facility design, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Architect to join their team in Sunderland . This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining the benefits of office-based collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and patient-centric design principles. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for new healthcare facilities and renovations, focusing on functionality, safety, and patient experience.
• Ensure all designs comply with NHS guidelines , HTMs, HBNs, and other relevant healthcare standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and 3D models.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, medical planners, and contractors, to achieve project goals.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for potential healthcare projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an architect specializing in healthcare design .
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare building regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural software.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) or equivalent.
