About the Role

Our client is looking for a specialist Healthcare Architect to join their established practice in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role focuses on the design and delivery of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and research centers. You will play a crucial role in translating complex healthcare needs into functional, efficient, and patient-centered architectural designs. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for healthcare projects, from initial concept to detailed design and construction.
• Develop detailed layouts, technical drawings , and specifications tailored for healthcare environments.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant healthcare standards, regulations (e.g., HTM, HBN), and user group requirements.
• Coordinate with specialist healthcare consultants, medical equipment planners, and engineering teams.
• Manage project delivery, including site supervision and liaison with construction teams.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with significant experience in healthcare facility design.
• Demonstrable portfolio of successfully delivered healthcare projects.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare building regulations and operational requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural design software.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
