About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Helpdesk Administrator to support their operations in Leeds . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of the internal IT helpdesk, managing user accounts, and providing first-line technical support to employees. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related queries, ensuring that all issues are logged, tracked, and resolved efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests from employees via ticketing system, phone, and email.
- Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and deletion of accounts in Active Directory.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and other peripherals.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for network connectivity, hardware failures, and software issues.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support activities within the helpdesk system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or administrative role.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and standard office productivity software.
- Basic understanding of IT principles, hardware, and networking concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
