About the Role

Our client is seeking a technically skilled and customer-oriented Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their team in Belfast . This role is critical for providing first-line technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services. You will diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, offering clear and concise guidance to users. This hybrid role allows for flexibility, combining essential in-office collaboration with remote work capabilities, ensuring both team cohesion and individual productivity within the Belfast area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient technical support to users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with security policies.
• Document all support requests, resolutions, and procedures in the IT helpdesk system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or specialized teams as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an IT Helpdesk Support role or similar technical support position.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Experience working within a hybrid work model .
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are advantageous.
