HGV Class 1 Driver - Local Routes

About the Role

Our client seeks experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for immediate start in Birmingham . You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods on established routes, contributing to the efficient supply chain operations of a leading logistics provider. Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and compliantly on designated routes.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods, securing them appropriately.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, working time regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license .
• Full CPC card and Digi-tacho card.
• Minimum of 2 years of HGV driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on license.
• Strong understanding of tachograph regulations and driver hours.
• Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
