HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Leeds. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Shifts:

Monday to Friday Hours

£19.08 per hour PAYE Location:

Leeds, LS27 Job Type : Temp to Perm The role: · 6 - 8 bulk collections . Minimal loading and unloading required · Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely Collections / deliveries. . Minimal loading / unloading · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. · Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. · Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.. Requirements: · Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). · Have at least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · Excellent communication skills. · A safety-first mindset.
