Key Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently for deliveries and collections.
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods, securing them properly to prevent damage.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks, including maintenance, safety, and cleanliness, reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies regarding driving hours and road safety.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete all necessary paperwork or electronic reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and collection interactions.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license.
• Full, current Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver, with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of UK road network and transport regulations.
