Job Title: HGV Class 1 Night Driver Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire Salary: £17–£20 per hour (£40,000–£47,000 per annum) Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Description:

We’re recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for a leading temperature-controlled logistics company in Newark.

Our client moves chilled and frozen food and pharmaceutical products for major customers across the UK. The Newark site has excellent links to the A1, A46 and A17. They’re growing the night team and want reliable drivers who take pride in the job.

The Role

• Night trunking and delivery routes from Newark to customers and depots nationwide

• Driving refrigerated trailers and monitoring load temperatures throughout each journey

• Completing vehicle checks, tachograph records and delivery paperwork accurately

• Working within drivers’ hours regulations and the Working Time Directive

Requirements

• Full UK C+E licence

• Valid Driver CPC card and digital tachograph card

• Proven Class 1 experience, ideally on nights

• Chilled or frozen experience is an advantage

• No more than 6 points on your licence
