About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team based in Rushden, NN10. This role involves night trunking to RDC's.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating a Class 1 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner * Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time * Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects * Maintaining delivery paperwork and PODs * Adhering to driver hours, WTD and road transport legislation * Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all delivery points Driver Requirements * Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience within the UK * Aged 25 years or over (insurance requirement) * Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card * No more than 3 penalty points * No major endorsements (DD, DR, IN etc.) * Comfortable with manual handling duties as and where required * Strong reliability and time management skills Assessment Process All applicants will be required to complete: * Driving assessment * Interview with the Transport Manager * Licence and compliance checks Pay & Benefits * Guaranteed 50 hours per week * 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays * Healthcare scheme after 6 months service * In-house CPC training provided * Stable, long-term employment * Supportive transport team environment This role would suit an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for consistent hours, guaranteed pay, and the opportunity to join a well-established and growing transport operation
