HGV Welder/Fabricator

Job Title: HGV Welder / Fabricator Salary: Up to £18.72 per hour + Overtime x 1.5 Location: Leeds Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm

About your new HGV Welder / Fabricator role: You will be required to undertake Welding / Fabricating on commercial vehicle bodies and chassis in a maintenance and refurbishment setting. This will include tankers, trailers and HGV's You will be required to work on a huge variety of different vehicles so experience in a variety of sectors is beneficial  The successful HGV Welder / Fabricator will require: Experience of medium- heavy fabrication of steel construction & welding - (2mm to 10mm) Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from a drawing and then complete welding Ability to spot visual faults in fabrications and correct them in a timely fashion. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
