About the Role

Our client, a well-established hotel in the vibrant city of Bradford , is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Manager to lead their front office operations. This key role involves managing the reception team, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes, handling guest inquiries and requests, and maintaining the highest standards of guest service. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for all visitors, contributing significantly to the hotel's reputation for excellent service in West Yorkshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule the front desk team to ensure adequate coverage and high performance.
• Manage all aspects of guest check-in and check-out, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee room inventory, reservations, and maintain accurate guest records.
• Develop and implement procedures to enhance the guest experience at the front desk.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role at a hotel front desk.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, PMS systems (Property Management Systems), and reservation software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly during busy periods.
• A customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus for guests in Bradford .
