Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Hotel General Manager to lead their esteemed property in Glasgow . This is a leadership position responsible for the overall success of the hotel, encompassing all aspects of operations, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team management. You will drive revenue growth, maintain brand standards, and ensure a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests and employees alike. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of operational excellence and strategic leadership within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring optimal performance across departments including front office, housekeeping, F&B, sales, and maintenance.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize revenue, control costs, and enhance profitability.
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service and maintain high brand standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the hotel's management team and staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, to achieve key financial targets.
- Represent the hotel in the local community and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 5 years in a General Manager or similar senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, profitability, and guest satisfaction metrics.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, sales, marketing, and human resources.
- A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
