About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor specializing in Employee Relations to join their team in Norwich . This role is pivotal in ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach to employee relations across the organisation. You will provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on complex ER matters, manage investigations, and contribute to the development of ER policies and best practices. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable and empathetic HR professional with a strong understanding of employment law and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive workplace, working collaboratively within a hybrid model in Norwich .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Conduct thorough investigations into complex ER cases, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Develop, review, and update employee relations policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Support managers in managing difficult conversations and implementing organisational change.
- Deliver training to managers and employees on employee relations topics.
- Contribute to improving overall employee engagement and fostering a positive working culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an Employee Relations focused HR role, such as HR Advisor or ER Specialist.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex ER investigations and case resolution.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is highly desirable.
