HR Advisor - Employee Relations

About the Role

Our client seeks a highly competent HR Advisor with a strong focus on Employee Relations to join their established HR department based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . This role is central to maintaining a positive and productive work environment by effectively managing and resolving employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and complex ER cases. You will work closely with line managers to ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures, providing expert advice and support. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and advise on complex employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and disputes.
• Support managers in conducting fair and thorough investigations, ensuring adherence to legal and company policies.
• Develop and deliver training to managers on employee relations best practices and legal compliance.
• Contribute to the review and update of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with evolving legislation.
• Build strong working relationships with employees and managers, promoting a culture of open communication and trust.

Requirements

• Solid experience as an HR Advisor or similar, with a significant focus on Employee Relations .
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and ER case management.
• Proven ability to conduct investigations and manage complex HR disputes.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is advantageous.
