HR Advisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated HR Advisor to join their team in Manchester . You will provide comprehensive HR support to managers and employees, managing a wide range of employee relations issues, recruitment activities, and HR projects. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of HR services and fostering a positive employee environment within the company. You will work closely with the HR team to implement HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring compliance and best practice across the organization, all within a traditional office setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Manage and resolve employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance issues.
• Support the end-to-end recruitment process, from job profiling and candidate sourcing to interview coordination and offer management.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects, such as HR system upgrades or policy reviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Assist in the delivery of HR training and development programs for staff and managers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
• Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and its practical application.
• Proven experience in managing complex employee relations cases.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment in an office-based setting.
