Our client is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their established team in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing expert advice on a range of HR issues, from employee relations to performance management and policy interpretation. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to line managers and employees.
- Manage and advise on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Support performance management cycles and talent development initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar HR Advisor role.
- Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in managing employee relations cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A relevant HR qualification or working towards one (e.g., CIPD) is beneficial.
