About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HR Advisor to support their operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of issues including employment law, company policies, and procedures.
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, from job posting to contract issuance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving employee engagement and HR efficiency.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support the HR team in various administrative tasks and contribute to HR reporting.
Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR generalist role.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in managing employee relations cases and advising on performance issues.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a proactive approach.
