About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their busy HR department in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . This role is critical in providing day-to-day HR support to managers and employees, managing employee relations cases, and contributing to the implementation of HR policies and projects. You will be an essential part of ensuring HR operations run smoothly and effectively, supporting the company's objectives and maintaining a positive work environment in the heart of Staffordshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to line managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely and effective hiring.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance reviews and training programs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR generalist role.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in handling employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or equivalent) is advantageous.
