About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join their team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial for supporting the HR function and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day HR activities. You will provide expert advice and guidance to line managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and services within the Newcastle office.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role, with strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations cases.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills.
- Relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or 5) is advantageous.
