We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join a growing social care provider in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and wants to make a real impact across the employee lifecycle.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will provide high-quality, practical HR advice and support to managers and employees across the organisation. You will play a key role in supporting employee relations, recruitment, administration, performance management and HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.

• Manage and support employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.

• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.

• Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied.

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

• Support managers with performance and people management.

• Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice.

• Build strong relationships with managers and employees across the organisation.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience working in an HR Advisor or similar HR role.

• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

• Experience managing employee relations cases.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A pragmatic, commercial and solutions-focused approach.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• The confidence to advise and challenge managers when required.

• Experience within social care, healthcare or another regulated environment would be highly desirable.
