About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join their remote team, supporting operations across the UK. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a flexible, remote working environment and can provide comprehensive HR support. You will be a key point of contact for employees and line managers, addressing a wide range of HR queries and contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives. This fully remote position offers the chance to make a substantial impact from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and support to employees and line managers on all aspects of HR in a remote setting.
- Manage and advise on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company HR policies and procedures.
- Support the full recruitment and selection process, from job description creation to offer management.
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees and the offboarding of departing staff.
- Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HR Information Systems (HRIS) effectively.
- Contribute to HR projects, policy development, and the continuous improvement of HR services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role, with a strong understanding of UK employment law.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advisory skills, capable of building trust remotely.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR technologies to manage employee data and processes.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload effectively in a remote environment.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
