About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their team, supporting operations remotely with potential for occasional travel to their Manchester office. This role will provide comprehensive HR support to employees and management, focusing on employee relations, HR policy interpretation, and talent management. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with employment law and promoting a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment legislation and company policies.
- Support the recruitment and selection process, from job profiling to offer management.
- Develop and deliver HR training initiatives to enhance manager capability and employee understanding of HR processes.
- Conduct investigations into grievances and disciplinary matters, providing clear and objective recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, with a strong understanding of employment law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload effectively in a remote capacity.
- Experience with HR information systems and HR analytics.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it is advantageous.
