About the Role
Our client is seeking an adaptable and proactive HR Advisor to join their team in Birmingham . Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and support to employees and line managers on a range of HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, screening CVs, arranging interviews, and conducting onboarding.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance reviews, training programs, and employee engagement surveys.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain current and effective.
- Support HR projects and ad-hoc HR tasks as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Advisory or similar HR support role.
- Good understanding of employment law and HR best practices within the UK.
- Experience with HRIS and HR administrative processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a confident and approachable manner.
- Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification is advantageous.
