About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and proactive HR Business Partner to support their operations in Oxford , Oxfordshire. This role serves as a key link between the HR function and specific business units, ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with business objectives and that employee needs are met. You will provide expert advice on a wide range of HR matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance improvement, and organisational development. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial understanding and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, driving positive change and fostering a high-performance culture within their designated business areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with assigned business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and translate them into HR initiatives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
- Support talent management initiatives, including succession planning, recruitment, and talent development.
- Lead and manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to the development of a positive organisational culture.
- Analyse HR data and metrics to inform business decisions and HR strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist, with experience in the UK employment environment.
- Strong understanding of talent management, employee relations, and performance management principles.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work strategically and operationally, with a commercial mindset.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is preferred.
- Based within commuting distance of Oxford .
