HR Generalist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and proactive HR Generalist to join their expanding team, supporting operations based in Portsmouth . This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, providing comprehensive HR support across various functions. You will be involved in recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, and HR administration, ensuring smooth HR operations for our dispersed workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of UK employment law and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive employee experience, all while managing tasks from a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Provide support and guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, advising managers and employees on interpretation and implementation.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Assist in the development and delivery of HR projects and initiatives, such as onboarding and training programs.
• Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing HR-related queries effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar broad HR role.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS and recruitment platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
