HR Generalist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and versatile HR Generalist to join their team in Sheffield . This role is vital in providing comprehensive HR support across various functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. You will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and contribute to maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct HR support and guidance to employees and line managers on a daily basis.
• Manage and execute end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing and selection.
• Oversee the onboarding and induction process for new employees.
• Administer and maintain accurate employee records and HR data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Support HR projects related to employee engagement, training, and performance management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a generalist HR role, with a solid understanding of UK employment law.
• Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is desirable.
