About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-oriented HR Manager to lead their Human Resources function in Manchester, Greater Manchester . You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, from talent acquisition and employee engagement to performance management and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and foster a high-performance culture. You will be a key player in shaping the employee experience and ensuring the effective management of our most valuable asset: our people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and support organisational growth.
- Ensure compliance with all UK employment laws and regulations, advising senior management on legal requirements.
- Implement and refine performance management systems to drive employee development and productivity.
- Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture through various HR initiatives and employee engagement programmes.
- Oversee payroll processing and HR information systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior HR role, with proven success in HR management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, UK employment law, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing HRIS and payroll systems.
- A relevant HR qualification, such as CIPD Level 7, is essential.
