About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and results-driven HR Manager to lead their human resources function in Manchester . This leadership role will be responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy, aligning it with the business's growth objectives, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will oversee all aspects of HR, including talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance, playing a critical role in developing and retaining a high-performing workforce across Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support business goals and organisational development.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring effective delivery of all HR services.
- Oversee talent acquisition, management, and retention strategies to attract and keep top talent.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure fair and consistent application of policies.
- Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment laws and regulations, staying abreast of changes.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role, such as HR Manager or HR Business Partner, within the UK.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results.
- Strong understanding of all HR functional areas, including compensation, benefits, talent management, and employee relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS and relevant HR technologies.
