About the Role
Our client seeks a motivated and results-oriented HR Manager to oversee HR operations for their Birmingham office, with a flexible hybrid working model. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day HR functions, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with department heads to implement HR policies and contribute to the development of a positive and productive work environment. This position offers the chance to lead HR initiatives in a growing organization, balancing office-based collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company HR policies, advising management on best practices.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement.
- Oversee the payroll process and manage employee benefits administration.
- Conduct training sessions for staff and managers on HR-related topics, such as diversity and inclusion.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing queries and resolving issues effectively.
Requirements
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in a generalist HR Manager or senior HR advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law in the UK and HR best practices.
- Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both an office and remote setting.
