About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to oversee HR operations in Birmingham, West Midlands . This role is crucial for supporting our growing workforce, ensuring efficient HR service delivery, and championing best practices across the organization. You will work closely with department heads to address their HR needs, manage employee relations, and contribute to developing a supportive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to extending offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Provide guidance and support to line managers on HR matters, including performance management and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fairness and competitiveness.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions for employees on various HR-related topics.
Requirements
- Solid experience as an HR Manager or a similar HR generalist role, with a strong understanding of UK employment law.
- Excellent knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Experience in managing HRIS systems and HR data.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
- CIPD Level 5 or above is advantageous.
