HR Officer - Recruitment & Onboarding

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Officer to focus on Recruitment and Onboarding for their operations based in Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role is crucial for attracting and integrating new talent into the organisation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the onboarding experience for new hires. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, possess excellent administrative skills, and be dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for all new employees joining the team in Bradford .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from advertising vacancies to shortlisting candidates.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews, liaise with hiring managers, and gather feedback.
• Conduct pre-employment checks and prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and providing a positive introduction to the company.
• Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records, supporting the HR team in Bradford with reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR support role, with a focus on recruitment.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with recruitment processes and onboarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite, and an understanding of the local Bradford employment market.
