About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and organized HR Officer to support their Human Resources department in Southampton . This role is integral to the smooth operation of HR functions, providing essential support to employees and management. You will be involved in various aspects of HR, including employee records, onboarding, payroll support, and assisting with employee relations issues. Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Provide first-line HR support to employees and line managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll information and liaise with the payroll provider.
- Support the recruitment process by posting vacancies, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.
- Help coordinate HR training and development activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Officer or HR Assistant role.
- Good understanding of HR administration and basic employment law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CIPD Level 3 or working towards it is advantageous.
