About the Role
Our client is seeking an organised and proactive HR Officer to support their operations in Derby . This role plays a crucial part in the effective delivery of HR services, covering a broad spectrum of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and policy support. You will work closely with the HR Manager and business stakeholders to ensure HR practices are implemented efficiently and compliantly. This hybrid position offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, supporting a key regional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and management.
- Assist with all stages of the recruitment and selection process.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations casework, offering guidance and support.
- Contribute to HR projects, such as onboarding improvements and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR role, such as HR Officer or HR Administrator.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
- Part-qualified or qualified CIPD is advantageous.
